Zain was trained as a lawyer. Mariam is a marketing and innovation strategist, entrepreneur and the founder of KinArmat. She has been helping businesses develop new approaches to digital marketing and branding strategies. In 2021 she got selected as one of Belgium’s 40 under 40 young leaders. She holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Leuven and Consumer Neuroscience certificates from the Copenhagen Business School.
Fareena Alam is a consultant to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in New York. The former editor of the British Muslim magazine, Q-News, she has been involved in project and people management the US, UK and Canada since 2001. More recently, she was Director of Online Services at SeekersHub Global and Director of Programs at the Concordia Forum.
After graduating from Goldsmiths University of London in Education, Annie branched into finance before taking a short sabbatical to embrace motherhood. Previously, Rahma was a senior engineering leader at Wealthfront where she led the financial services area that focussed on building products in financial advisory space like the 529 College Savings Plan as well as the Portfolio Line of Credit.
Hussein is a US-born, London based venture capitalist and a partner at Hoxton Ventures. He currently represents Hoxton on the boards of Biotx, Giraffe360, Kbox Global, Skin Analytics, SOC.OS, TourRadar, XYZ Reality and Yieldify, and serves as a board observer on Behavox, Darktrace, Fy!, Karakuri, Loveshark and Panakeia.

Usman Ahmed is the Head of Global Public Policy at PayPal Inc. Ahmed is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law School where he teaches courses on international law and policy issues related to the Internet as well as fintech law. His research has been published in the MIT Press Innovations Journal.
Alia Kemet was with IKEA Group for 14 years in creative and digital roles before joining McCormick & Company as Vice President of Creative & Digital Marketing. Kameelah is the Founder and President of Muslim Wellness Foundation (MWF); dedicated for the emotional well-being in the American Muslim community. She also serves as the Fellow for Spirituality, Wellness and Social Justice at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and advisor for Penn Sapelo, the first Black Muslim Student organization on campus.
