Description

This is a lesson about understanding geometry, mosque designs and the art elements applied to it. It involves drawing something together with a pencil and paper, using external materials be it from a picture from a coffee table book or via the internet. Within the first class basic skills will be taught and the student that leaves it being able to work on an initial project on his own, with optional follow up sessions subject to discussion. Art supplies recommended for this: a mechanical pencil, a few colours of colouring pencils, 15cm ruler, 30cm ruler, a Copic finer-liner, and alcohol-based brush pens - see the picture in profile.
